KCBY is the weekly student-run television program at Coppell High School that covers what is happening in the community which reaches an audience of approximately 6,000 people. Each show is produced by students who film and edit weekly. Our television program has set the cornerstone for broadcast journalism in high school.

The Coppell HS Broadcast Media Booster Club is the parent organisation supporting KCBY.
The booster club is run by parents and supports the broadcast media program through fundraising, volunteer coordination, student events, and equipment. It gives the program resources beyond what the classroom provides.
Families can help by working events, serving on a committee, contributing to fundraisers, or lending a hand behind the scenes. Membership, forms, the calendar and the family directory are all handled on the booster club's own site.
Coppell ISD requires every volunteer to clear a district background check before working with students. Complete it through the district's volunteer system, then sign up through the booster club.
